How the AFM risks lives for fun and profit
Motorcycle racing is a dangerous sport. Even when handled with respect and care, it can be dangerous, even fatal. All of us who race understand these risks.
What the sport does not need is people who deliberately act to make the sport even more dangerous. People who deliberately take actions that make the sport even more risky. It is worse when the actions taken are done out of spite, for personal pleasure, without regard for the lives they endanger.
As many of you know, I resigned from the AFM this year. Not because I don’t love racing with other AFM members, but due to problems with how the AFM officers act when performing their duties. How they undertake measures to act out personal vendettas, without regard for the lives of the participants who they risk. These problems proved so pervasive, and the effect so deadly, that I resigned to avoid fatal consequences for myself or other riders.
I am going to spell out in detail what I observed, who was responsible for each of these actions, and how these actions threatened the safety of other riders. I am going to make it clear exactly what the ethics of the acting officers of the AFM are. I’m going to show the petty, low actions they take to achieve points in their personal dramas. And I’m going to make it clear how they increase the risk to their racers, at their members expense.
One post a day for at least the next 10 days. You’re going to see exactly how the AFM risks lives for fun and profit.
